This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead and expand a high-performing BDR organization, focusing on strategic outbound pipeline generation while managing inbound lead processes to ensure top-quality qualification and consistent conversion.
• Establish the long-term vision and strategic direction for the outbound function, aligning initiatives with overarching revenue and go-to-market objectives.
• The BDR organization operates under Sales Leadership, and you will closely collaborate with Account Executives and Sales Managers to create, refine, and implement strategic plays for generating high-quality, conversion-ready pipelines.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and Product teams to create integrated programs that ensure consistent, high-quality lead generation and conversion.
• Foster a data-driven performance culture by developing comprehensive reporting, forecasting, and coaching frameworks.
• Identify and introduce new tools, processes, and workflows to enhance team efficiency and scalability.
• Advocate for cross-functional collaboration and influence key strategic decisions across Go-To-Market teams.
• Serve as a leader-coach: mentor emerging managers, support career growth, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Represent the outbound team's interests to senior leadership, highlighting trends, challenges, and opportunities.
• Own and refine the playbook for scaling teams, territories, and talent within a dynamic growth environment.
• Assist in creating a scalable promotion pathway for top BDRs transitioning to SMB AEs.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in sales or business development, including 2+ years leading outbound BDR or SDR teams at scale.
• Proven success in guiding teams to consistently meet or exceed pipeline and revenue quotas, with a history of driving year-over-year improvements in metrics.
• Strategic thinker with a solid operational foundation — capable of translating high-level objectives into actionable roadmaps.
• In-depth understanding of outbound sales strategies, metrics, and key indicators of success.
• Strong cross-functional collaborator with experience in influencing stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations.
• Proven track record in coaching and developing high-potential individuals and leaders.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and storytelling abilities.
• Comfortable with uncertainty and eager to build in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Experience with tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, and Looker (or similar analytics platforms).
• Bonus: Experience in SaaS, high-growth startups, or industries like procurement, finance, or operations.
