Senior Manager, Safety Epidemiologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct data analyses utilizing analytic platforms to enhance understanding of disease progression and essential deliverables.

• Execute ad-hoc literature reviews and deliver insightful interpretations of study designs and outcomes from published research.

• Assist in creating content for the epidemiological sections of various safety reports (e.g., PBRER, RMP, DSUR, PSP, ODD) and other regulatory submissions requiring epidemiological expertise.

• Under the guidance of senior epidemiologists, aid in the formulation of study design, protocol, and reporting for epidemiological projects.

• Create slide presentations or results tables that encapsulate the principal findings of epidemiological investigations.

• Write and publish epidemiological research works.

• Support commercial and marketing initiatives and help differentiate BeOne products.

• Advocate for sound epidemiological practices while collaborating with cross-functional teams or external experts and partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's degree (MPH, MSPH) in a pertinent field (e.g., health outcomes research, public health, statistics).

• Minimum of 5 years of experience leading epidemiological research in either the pharmaceutical industry or a consulting environment.

• Proficiency in designing and analyzing epidemiological studies (e.g., cohort, case-control, cross-sectional).

• Familiarity with widely used statistical methods (e.g., survival analysis, propensity score matching, repeated measures).

• Proven track record in epidemiological research demonstrated by the publication of original studies in peer-reviewed journals.

• Highly organized, self-driven, with the capability to effectively prioritize and manage several projects while collaborating well in teams.

• Strong oral and written communication skills, along with effective presentation abilities.
