Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and oversee the revenue closing processes at month-end, quarter-end, and year-end.

• Conduct comprehensive reviews and analyses of contracts for non-standard and intricate agreements.

• Act as the primary administrator and owner of the NetSuite ARM module.

• Manage and uphold schedules for deferred revenue, roll-forwards, and reconciliations.

• Prepare and take responsibility for revenue-related SEC disclosures.

• Serve as the main point of contact for external auditors regarding all revenue-related topics.

• Draft and evaluate technical accounting memorandums.

• Evaluate the revenue impact and accounting treatment for new business ventures.

• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a team of professionals in revenue accounting.

• Collaborate effectively across departments including Sales, Legal, FP&A, and Business Systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.

• CPA is highly preferred.

• Over 7 years of progressive experience in revenue accounting.

• Extensive experience within a public company setting.

• Profound technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP, with a strong focus on ASC 606.

• Practical experience with NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM).
