Senior Manager, Retailer Media Measurement

📋 Description

• Conduct commercial mix analytics (MMM); generating quarterly insights/advisory, managing data input and scaling, and overseeing additional in-depth analyses.

• Evaluate retail media measurement capabilities, analytics, and incrementality; collaborating with Retail Media Networks & Media Agencies to enhance capabilities and measurement methodologies, while governing the internal selection of key KPIs and analyzing returns.

• Develop reporting and benchmarks in partnership with retail media agencies; establishing a learning agenda, key measurement principles, and identifying benchmarks linked to business KPIs.

• Create an annual learning agenda aligned with business KPIs; perform analyses and determine key optimizations/actions for the business, while effectively communicating findings to stakeholders (e.g., Business Units).

• Serve as a consultant/advisor to key customer accounts; conducting performance reviews, testing plans, and measurement roadmaps across major retailers such as Target, Kroger, Walmart, and Amazon.

• Identify and manage capability partnerships for media measurement (e.g., Share of Voice for Retail Media Networks display partners, evaluating incremental measurement solutions).

• Oversee the evolution of retailer media measurement solutions (e.g., clean room strategy and execution).

• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate Retail Media Measurement, Performance, & Insights with broader business initiatives (i.e., Data & Analytics, Data Science, Marketing Analytics).

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience utilizing a combination of advanced and predictive analytics, marketing analytics, and analytic techniques for marketing, media, customer, and business applications.

• More than 7 years of experience working with large datasets to inform marketing and business strategies; experience in marketing mix modeling is preferred.

• 5 to 7 years of experience with performance media data (experience with retail media data is preferred).

• 5 to 7 years of experience collaborating and managing projects across various functions and levels of leadership, capturing perspectives and leveraging internal knowledge to provide insights and action-oriented solutions.

• Proven ability to innovate and refine processes or strategies through the application of technology and knowledge enhancement; knowledgeable about industry best practices and capability improvements.

• Capability to apply marketing and commercial intelligence concepts for business success.

• Proficient in linking retailer analytics to retailer media analytics (i.e., understanding the Amazon Marketing Cloud, Scintilla, and how they can connect sales and media performance).
