Regional Support Chef Manager

📋 Description

• Oversee daily kitchen operations, providing fresh and high-quality meals.

• Guarantee outstanding food service for students, staff, and guests.

• Manage coverage for long-term illnesses, general absences, holidays, and recruitment shortages.

• Adapt swiftly to various kitchen settings and team environments.

• Substitute for permanent chefs as required, ensuring consistency and quality.

• Work alongside the catering team to plan and execute special events, themed dinners, and other culinary projects.

• Direct kitchen operations, maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

• Supervise and support a small kitchen team.

• Oversee menu creation, inventory management, and supplier relations.

• Ensure adherence to all food safety, health and safety, and safeguarding regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience as a Chef Manager or in a similar position within contract catering, preferably in the Independent Education sector.

• Strong skills in kitchen management and leadership.

• Enthusiastic about utilizing fresh, seasonal ingredients to develop balanced and appealing menus.

• Exceptional organizational and communication abilities.

• Familiarity with food safety regulations, allergen management, and sustainability best practices.
