Senior Manager – Public Cloud

📋 Description

• Define and implement the organization's public cloud strategy and modernization roadmap in alignment with business objectives.

• Lead the design, engineering, and enhancement of scalable, resilient, and secure cloud platforms.

• Oversee the complete delivery of cloud programs, encompassing planning, execution, governance, and reporting.

• Build, mentor, and guide high-performing cloud and engineering teams; manage strategic vendors and partners.

• Collaborate with security teams to ensure cloud security, compliance, audit preparedness, and risk management.

• Supervise incident management, disaster recovery, and business continuity for cloud platforms.

• Work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure satisfaction, transparency, and excellence in delivery.

• Promote continuous improvement through standardized frameworks, metrics, and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Management.

• MBA or Master’s degree is preferred.

• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, SAFe, etc.) are highly advantageous.

• Hands-on leadership experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP; OCI experience is a plus).

• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, DevOps, CI/CD, and platform engineering concepts.

• Experience with Azure DevOps, Agile / SAFe methodologies, and modern delivery practices.

• Familiarity with Linux administration and cloud-native operations.

• Knowledge of reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau).

• Proven track record in program and portfolio management for large, multi-project cloud initiatives.

• Strong skills in budgeting, cost optimization, and financial governance.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities at the executive level.

• Demonstrated strengths in people leadership, coaching, and talent development.

• Capability to operate effectively in environments experiencing change and transformation.
