Manager, Government Relations – Southern Region

📋 Description

• Act as the primary external representative for engagement in VA, TN, NC, SC, FL, GA, AL, MS, OK, AR, LA, and TX.

• Oversee multiple high-stakes projects.

• Create and implement a regional engagement strategy.

• Collaborate with the executive team on various government relations initiatives.

• Establish and nurture relationships with government leaders and key influencers.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience in government or government relations, preferably at the state or local level.

• Experience in a large, expanding public company within a regulated sector.

• Ability to swiftly understand new issues that affect the business.

• Exceptional attention to detail, with the capability to work quickly and manage multiple tasks.

• Strong communication skills, with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.

• Willingness to travel as required.
