Laboratory Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise the daily functions of the Laboratory Services department across both clinical and translational research streams.

• Manage staff, enhance and streamline laboratory workflows, and ensure adherence to quality and regulatory guidelines.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless daily operations of cancer diagnostic testing.

• Provide leadership and oversight for instrument maintenance programs and troubleshooting procedures.

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retention initiatives to cultivate a high-performing team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's (BA/BS), Master’s (MA/MS), or PhD/MD in a relevant scientific discipline such as biology, chemistry, medical technology, laboratory management, or a related field is required.

• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), or an equivalent certification, along with licensure in California, is mandatory.

• Eligible to receive delegation as a General Supervisor in New York and California (combination of education and years of experience in high complexity clinical testing).

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in leadership roles within laboratory and operational settings.
