This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead a team of senior and principal product managers in the areas of Continuous Integration, Artifact Management, Continuous Deployment, and Observability, offering strategic guidance, coaching, and support.
• Establish the product strategy and long-term vision for GitLab's Agentic Software Delivery portfolio, articulating a clear perspective on the impact of AI on software delivery workflows.
• Integrate portfolio decisions related to building, packaging, deploying, and monitoring experiences to ensure a seamless customer journey across the platform.
• Work closely with engineering leadership on platform investments, architectural direction, and trade-offs throughout the portfolio.
• Drive alignment on pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategies with product marketing, sales, pricing, customer success, and solutions engineering to foster commercial growth across the portfolio.
• Leverage customer insights and product data, including usage telemetry, retention signals, and adoption trends, to inform roadmap prioritization and enhance product adoption and retention.
• Advocate for migration and adoption strategies that assist existing customers in transitioning from current workflows to more advanced CI/CD and AI-enhanced delivery models, thereby increasing platform adoption.
• Exemplify AI-native product management by utilizing AI tools for discovery, synthesis, prototyping, roadmap exploration, and product concept development, while guiding the team to adopt similar practices.
• Proven experience in leading product managers in a people leadership capacity, including defining direction, mentoring senior talent, and upholding high standards for product management.
• Hands-on product management experience in relevant domains such as CI/CD pipelines, artifact or package management, release management, or observability.
• Capability to oversee a diverse portfolio across multiple product areas and unify teams around a common product vision and execution framework.
• Technical proficiency to collaborate effectively with engineers and architects on subjects like pipeline design, artifact workflows, deployment strategies, and observability metrics such as logs, metrics, and traces.
• Experience interacting with technical customers in developer tools, DevOps, or software delivery environments where engineers and engineering leaders are the primary users.
• Comfort with making pricing and packaging decisions for technical products, including navigating free, commercial, and enterprise offerings.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, capable of aligning executives, cross-functional partners, and customers around a coherent strategy.
• Practical experience using AI tools in product management workflows, along with a thoughtful understanding of how AI and agentic workflows are transforming software delivery. We welcome candidates with diverse yet transferable product and leadership experiences.
