Senior Manager, Product Design – Core Experience

📋 Description

• Lead and nurture a team of Product Designers by offering coaching, mentorship, performance evaluations, and clear guidance while cultivating an inclusive, high-performance team culture.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research, Data Science, and business stakeholders to define product strategy, influence roadmap priorities, and synchronize teams around customer and business objectives.

• Steer the design and execution of intuitive, cohesive customer experiences by assisting teams in navigating uncertainty, framing complex challenges, and converting strategy into high-quality product solutions.

• Advocate for design excellence by enhancing product thinking, interaction design, systems thinking, and customer-focused decision-making, while continuously refining design processes, planning, critiques, and collaboration.

• Propel operational excellence by leveraging data, customer insights, AI-driven capabilities, and emerging technologies to enhance decision-making, boost team efficiency, and fortify the overall product development workflow.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 8 years of experience in Product Design, UX, or a similar field, including more than 3 years of experience in leading and developing Product Design teams.

• Proven experience collaborating closely with Product Management, Engineering, Research, and cross-functional stakeholders to establish strategy and deliver customer-focused digital products.

• Experience guiding teams through uncertainty, balancing long-term strategic vision with day-to-day execution, and achieving measurable business and customer results.

• Strong grasp of product design principles, interaction design, systems thinking, user-centered design, and contemporary product development methodologies.

• Familiarity with leveraging customer insights, qualitative and quantitative data, and AI-driven tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar technologies to enhance team performance and product outcomes.

• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, coaching, and organizational leadership abilities, coupled with the capacity to influence across various functions and levels.
