Senior Manager, Product Delivery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the delivery roadmap for your branch, ensuring it aligns with the organizational strategy and market demands.

• Define and prioritize tasks among various development teams in collaboration with your Product Owners.

• Prepare inputs at the branch level for weekly, monthly, and quarterly assessments of the roadmap.

• Provide sequencing tradeoff recommendations to the Senior Director when initiatives vie for resources.

• Monitor delivery progress against the promised roadmap items and highlight risks promptly.

• Coordinate inter-team dependencies within your branch and across other branches.

• Lead cross-functional alignment meetings involving Product Management, Engineering, Operations, and Client Delivery teams.

• Ensure that operational insights from hub programs are integrated into roadmap planning.

• Collaborate with the Senior Manager from the other branch to address cross-branch dependencies and shared objectives.

• Oversee a team of Product Owners and Business Analysts, offering coaching, career development, and performance evaluations.

• Establish clear expectations for Product Owner performance, including a target of 75% strategic time allocation supported by Business Analyst assistance.

• Hold regular one-on-one meetings, eliminate obstacles, and ensure your team possesses the context and resources necessary for success.

• Cultivate a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making within the team.

• Step in to handle Product Owner responsibilities as needed—covering during absences, leading critical initiatives, or assisting teams during challenging sprints.

• Maintain enough technical and domain knowledge to effectively review Product Owner work, validate acceptance criteria, and engage with engineering leads.

• Personally drive key, cross-team initiatives that involve multiple Product Owners within your branch.

• Stay up-to-date with the product domain, technology stack, and operational context of your branch.

• Represent your branch in leadership reviews, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and cross-organizational planning sessions.

• Communicate the progress of the roadmap, delivery risks, and strategic recommendations to Product Engineering leadership.

• Collaborate with Product Managers to ensure that strategic insights from PMs are converted into actionable roadmap items.

• Work with Client Delivery and Operations to ensure that product decisions reflect implementation and operational realities.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8-12 years of experience in product management, product ownership, or product delivery within a software/SaaS environment.

• Proven experience managing or leading a team of product professionals, including Product Owners, Product Managers, or Business Analysts.

• Strong history of owning and delivering on a product roadmap featuring multiple concurrent initiatives.

• Experience in agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe) alongside engineering teams.

• Ability to function at both strategic (roadmap, prioritization, stakeholder alignment) and tactical (sprint planning, acceptance criteria, dependency resolution) levels.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of presenting to leadership and collaborating across engineering, operations, and client-facing teams.

• Experience managing cross-team dependencies and making sequencing tradeoff decisions.

• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to make decisions even with incomplete information.

• Background in healthcare technology, specialty pharmaceuticals, patient access/hub services, or medical reimbursement (preferred).

• Familiarity with benefits verification, prior authorization, or patient assistance program workflows (preferred).

• Agile certification (Scrum Alliance, SAFe, or similar) (preferred).

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and product analytics tools (preferred).
