Senior Manager, Procurement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct a team of acquisition specialists.

• Collaborate with our suppliers to enhance performance, foster strong relationships, and ensure a reliable supply chain.

• Address and resolve internal customer and/or supplier concerns.

• Manage financial objectives related to subcontract deliveries.

• Ensure the achievement of business factory MRP requirements.

• Offer guidance on compliance with procurement policies and procedures, including the preparation of various solicitations such as RFQ, RFP, and RFI.

• Evaluate quotations and proposals using price/cost analysis methods.

• Formulate negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations regarding price, delivery, and terms.

• Issue Purchase Orders that involve significant financial amounts and procurement complexities.

• Conduct risk assessments and devise mitigation plans and solutions for identified problems.

• Travel to RTX and supplier locations as necessary, with typical trips occurring monthly or more frequently.

⛳️ Requirements

• A University Degree or equivalent experience along with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, OR an Advanced degree and 7 years of relevant experience in supply chain management or a similar field.

• Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) or experience in other heavily regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, medical, aerospace, aviation, power generation, or automotive.

• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) or have the eligibility to acquire the necessary export authorizations.
