Senior Director, Procurement and Strategic Sourcing

📋 Description

• Enhance and advance Juniper Square's procurement strategy with a focus on AI integration.

• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-achieving procurement team.

• Act as a trusted advisor to the executive team, influencing vendor strategy.

• Collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, Security, and Business Operations to synchronize procurement efforts.

• Advocate for the adoption of AI-enhanced processes throughout the organization.

• Oversee all strategic sourcing initiatives, including supplier selection, RFPs, contract negotiations, and vendor performance management.

• Manage the complete contract lifecycle, ensuring precision, compliance, and transparency across all vendor agreements.

• Supervise vendor performance management, encompassing KPIs, SLAs, and renewal assessments.

• Actively manage renewals and vendor relationships to uphold competitive advantage and operational consistency.

• Identify and implement significant cost savings while preserving quality and mitigating risks.

• Spearhead the design and execution of AI-driven procurement workflows.

• Assess, pilot, and expand AI tools to enhance the productivity of the procurement team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.

• Over 10 years of procurement and sourcing experience, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment, including 2–5 years in a Director role.

• Proven experience in leading AI-driven process transformation within procurement or operations.

• Strong negotiation abilities with a successful history of achieving cost reductions and process enhancements.

• In-depth understanding of procurement best practices, contract management, and risk mitigation strategies.

• Practical experience with AI-powered tools and dynamic platforms; willingness to experiment with and implement new technologies.

• Established ability to build a procurement brand within an organization and facilitate organizational change through influence, communication, and stakeholder engagement.

• Exceptional skills in relationship-building and cross-functional collaboration, particularly with executive teams.

• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adjust to shifting priorities.

• Detail-oriented and highly organized; capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Experience in implementing or scaling procurement tools is highly preferred.
