Purchasing and Design Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Communicate effectively with team members and supplier partners to ensure the timely and accurate development of travel project proposals.

• Collaborate with Client Services to deliver operational excellence and drive growth.

• Source rates and availability while strategizing recommendations for destinations, hotels, resorts, ships, and venues.

• Create attractive programs that incorporate innovative inclusions to optimize the client’s budget.

• Stay informed about emerging industry trends and integrate creative themes, concepts, activities, and events into proposals.

• Take into account client/program objectives, historical context, attendee demographics, and budget constraints when crafting recommendations.

• Negotiate competitive rates and terms on behalf of the client by leveraging supplier relationships and identifying opportunities to enhance value.

• Prepare budgets and proformas by evaluating options that meet client budget requirements while maximizing profit opportunities for One10.

• Execute contracts in accordance with established processes, ensuring that Client Services and clients are kept informed and that their interests are represented in all terms and conditions.

• Participate in client presentations to showcase One10's travel-related capabilities alongside specific solution recommendations.

• Build and maintain relationships within the industry, including hotels, NSOs, DMCs, and CVBs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of four (4) years of industry experience.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Strong editing and writing abilities.

• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Exceptional customer service ethic with high standards for quality.

• Outstanding communication skills.

• Willingness to travel and attend presentations as necessary.
