This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +1 more state.
• Foster a culture of Operational Excellence and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
• Drive Lean initiatives, Kaizen events, and value stream enhancement projects across the business.
• Recognize, prioritize, and implement strategic process improvement projects that align with operational and financial goals.
• Establish, standardize, and track KPIs related to productivity, quality, service, and cost improvements.
• Collaborate with business leaders to ensure continuous improvement strategies are in sync with organizational objectives.
• Evaluate business performance and operational trends to uncover opportunities for optimization and risk mitigation.
• Spearhead complex process redesign initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, minimizing waste, enhancing service delivery, and increasing customer satisfaction.
• Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles, value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and structured problem-solving techniques.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops and Kaizen events.
• Assess business processes with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and pinpoint innovative solutions.
• Ensure effective change management following continuous improvement initiatives.
• Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and strategic client partners.
• Work in collaboration with client services, distribution center operations, and shared service partners.
• Assist key client initiatives by employing Lean methodologies.
• Persuade stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of continuous improvement professionals.
• Enhance organizational Lean capabilities through coaching.
• Direct project prioritization and resource allocation.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Typically requires 9+ years of relevant professional experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory and/or management experience.
• Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Background in managing and developing teams within business, operations, distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain environments.
• Proficiency in Lean methodologies, Kaizen facilitation, value stream mapping, process optimization, and structured problem-solving.
• Experience in influencing cross-functional stakeholders and driving enterprise-wide change initiatives.
• Strong business acumen.
• Ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously while achieving measurable results.
• Preferred experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, medical products, healthcare distribution, or pharmaceutical distribution industries.
• Preferred experience in warehousing, fulfillment, distribution center operations, supply chain, third-party logistics, or manufacturing operations.
• Preferred experience supporting strategic customer-facing initiatives and working directly with external clients.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen.
• Experience collaborating with senior leaders and influencing decisions within complex organizations.
• Excellent communication and executive-level presentation skills.
• Industrial engineering or operations engineering experience is a plus.
• Lean Manufacturing Practitioner, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, or 9+ years of proven experience is preferred.
