This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage in People Team Leadership meetings (and other relevant meetings) to facilitate effective communication regarding project timelines, deliverables, and interdepartmental dependencies.
• Provide both technical and functional guidance for the exploration, assessment, recommendation, design, and configuration of new features and functionalities within Workday and other related systems.
• Collaborate with leaders from the People Team, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to collect system requirements and translate them into efficient Workday solutions.
• Configure, test, validate, and implement modifications in Workday, ensuring the overall integrity of the Workday platform and that all elements of the technical architecture are appropriately integrated and maintained.
• Create and update documentation related to system procedures and processes; develop user guides as necessary.
• Lead and develop a team of analysts, establishing objectives that align with both team and company strategies.
• Implement HRIS best practices and identify automation opportunities within essential business processes.
• Implement and comply with public company-ready ITGCs and best practice business process controls within the People Systems environment.
• Over 6 years of configuration experience with Workday HCM, encompassing business process framework, security, and general system administration.
• More than 3 years of experience leading an HRIS team.
• Proficient in at least three additional Workday functional areas (such as Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Talent & Performance, Time Tracking, Payroll, etc.).
• Mastery in report writing, calculated fields, and EIBs.
• Capable of managing competing priorities, resolving issues swiftly, and working autonomously.
• Excellent communication skills: Ability to succinctly explain complex cross-functional processes and produce clear/simple documentation, including process guides and diagrams.
• Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong project management skills with the capability to lead and drive system implementation and enhancement projects.
• Ability to assess new vendors/products that can deliver meaningful ROI for the organization, particularly in relation to GenAI.
• Preference for candidates located within the EST timezone, though candidates from the CST timezone will be considered for the right fit.
