This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Oversee the complete recruitment process for all positions, including drafting and posting job advertisements, sourcing candidates, screening, coordinating interviews, and shortlisting applicants.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to define roles, create precise job descriptions, and establish realistic hiring timelines.
• Develop and sustain talent pipelines for challenging or frequently occurring roles.
• Manage candidate communications and their overall experience from application to job offer.
• Negotiate job offers and issue employment contracts in accordance with company policies and relevant awards/agreements.
• Monitor and report on recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and source effectiveness.
• Coordinate the onboarding and induction process for new employees, which includes managing contracts and system setups.
• Ensure the maintenance of accurate and compliant employee records.
• Administer changes in the employee lifecycle, including variations, promotions, leave management, and offboarding.
• Provide support for employee wellbeing initiatives.
• Assist the payroll department with accurate and timely data regarding new hires, terminations, and changes.
• Ensure compliance with the Fair Work Act, relevant Modern Awards, and workplace health & safety obligations.
• Keep HR policies, procedures, and the staff handbook updated and in compliance.
• Support quarterly performance review cycles, probation assessments, and basic employee relations matters.
• Serve as the initial point of contact for staff regarding HR policy, entitlements, and general inquiries about personnel matters.
• Proven ability to independently manage the full-cycle recruitment process.
• Strong understanding of Australian employment law, including the Fair Work Act and Modern Award interpretation.
• Excellent judgment and the confidence to make sound decisions without a large HR team supporting you.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the capability to balance urgent recruitment demands with ongoing compliance tasks.
• High level of attention to detail, especially concerning contracts, records, and compliance documentation.
• Confident communicator, adept at engaging with staff at all levels, including senior leadership personnel.
• A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is desirable.
• Experience in establishing or enhancing HR systems and processes from the ground up is desirable.
• Familiarity with HRIS and applicant tracking system (ATS) platforms is desirable.
• Background in professional services or a similar office-based environment is desirable.
