PeopleSoft Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +13 more states.

📋 Description

• The project involves upgrading PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 and implementing enhancements for a U.S. federal utility, covering phases such as Study, Design, Build/Test, and Deployment.

• The resource will oversee functional activities for the PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 upgrade initiative.

• Responsibilities include gathering requirements, creating functional design documentation, mapping processes, and providing testing support.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6-7 years of experience with PeopleSoft HCM (version 9.x is highly preferred).

• Over 6 years of experience in supporting SDLC functional activities, including requirements gathering, design, and testing.

• Facilitate requirements sessions and develop functional design documents for various PeopleSoft HCM modules.

• Create as-is/to-be process maps and perform fit-gap analysis between existing functionalities and the capabilities of version 9.2.

• Formulate test plans and manage testing activities in collaboration with client stakeholders.

• In-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM modules such as Core HR, Benefits, Payroll, and Time & Labor.

• Experience with PeopleSoft upgrade projects, preferably to version 9.2.

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.

• A master's degree is preferred.

• Prior experience with federal clients is advantageous, and PeopleSoft certification(s) are beneficial but not mandatory.
