This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the design, standardization, and ongoing enhancement of global onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle workflow processes for both employees and contractors.
• Create and sustain process documentation: ensure that every workflow, standard operating procedure (SOP), and operational standard is thoroughly documented, version-controlled, and easily accessible—ensuring that institutional knowledge resides within the system rather than solely in individuals’ minds.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities for automation within People Operations workflows, collaborating with the UKG Ready Specialist and cross-functional stakeholders to minimize manual effort, enhance accuracy, and boost scalability.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners (HRBPs), functional leaders, and the UKG Ready Specialist to confirm that processes align with business requirements and are executed consistently throughout the organization.
• Assess and suggest practical applications of AI and automation within People Operations, while ensuring that appropriate governance, privacy, and compliance measures are in place.
• Design processes with scalability in mind—capable of supporting a 500-person organization even when our headcount is at 325.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or a similar role within a technology company.
• Proven experience managing employee lifecycle processes from start to finish—covering onboarding, offboarding, job transitions, and compensation adjustments—with documented SOPs.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms at an operational ownership level—you have been accountable for data quality, process execution, and compliance within an HRIS, rather than just being a user. While UKG Ready experience is not essential, substantial operational experience with any enterprise HRIS (such as Workday, HiBob, ADP, Paylocity, etc.) is required.
• Background in supporting payroll and benefits operations, including internal controls and the flow of data between HR and payroll systems.
• Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration with Finance, IT, Legal, and Security on HR compliance, system, and process initiatives.
• Experience in building and maintaining HR reporting and dashboards with a focus on data integrity.
• Working knowledge of federal and state HR compliance requirements, including I-9, EEO-1, FMLA, and multi-state employment law.
• Health insurance
• 401(k) matching
• Flexible work hours
• Paid time off
• Professional development opportunities
