This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assemble and lead the team: Oversee two paid media contractors right from the start, with the aim of transitioning them into full-time roles by January, and expand the team to 2-3 members within the first year. You will be responsible for hiring, onboarding, coaching, and developing your direct reports. This position emphasizes people management rather than solo individual contributor duties.
• Take charge of paid media strategy and budget: Strategize, allocate, and oversee a $5M+ annual budget across platforms such as LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube, Google, Reddit, TikTok, DSP, and DOOH. You will be accountable for every dollar spent.
• Manage agencies and contractors: Provide briefings, direct, and ensure accountability among external partners. You will establish the strategy and testing agenda; they will carry out the execution. Your prior experience on the agency side equips you to recognize high-quality agency output.
• Oversee paid social as a key channel: Engage with platforms like LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube, Reddit, and TikTok where our target audience is active. You will develop audience strategies, creative testing frameworks, and campaign architectures that transform paid social into a significant pipeline contributor.
• Construct the necessary infrastructure: Develop measurement frameworks, attribution models, tagging systems, and reporting dashboards. If the essential components are lacking, you will create them. Collaborate with RevOps and marketing ops to connect ad spending with pipeline outcomes.
• Implement structured experimentation at scale: Design and carry out testing programs across creative assets, target audiences, channels, and bidding strategies. You will have a systematic approach to this process, rather than simply experimenting. Document successful strategies, eliminate ineffective ones, and disseminate findings throughout the organization.
• Leverage AI to enhance performance: You are already utilizing AI for optimizing bids, audience modeling, creative iterations, and performance assessments. We expect you to demonstrate how AI integrates into your workflow and where it provides a competitive advantage. This is essential for modern paid media operations.
• Propel full-funnel programs: Manage campaigns that address the entire buyer journey, from initial awareness to demo requests and pipeline acceleration. Work in coordination with demand generation, account-based experiences (ABX), content, and sales teams.
• Report on key metrics: Convert platform metrics into actionable business results: pipeline created, cost per opportunity, and influenced revenue.
• 8+ years of experience in B2B paid media, managing annual budgets of $5-10M+, with a minimum of 2+ years in a team management role.
• Extensive knowledge of paid social platforms (LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube, Reddit, TikTok) and a working understanding of Google Ads, DSP, and DOOH.
• Experience in managing agencies and contractors. You craft precise briefs, establish KPIs, and adjust strategies when performance deviates. Bonus points if you have agency-side experience.
• Developed and executed structured experimentation programs across creative elements, audiences, and channel mixes at scale.
• Established paid media infrastructure, including attribution, naming conventions, tagging, and reporting.
• Proven application of AI in paid media: optimizing bids, analyzing performance, producing creative content, and segmenting audiences. You should be able to provide specific examples of AI enhancing your results.
• Excellent communicator capable of presenting to leadership and aligning cross-functional partners. This skill is just as critical as your technical platform expertise.
• Familiarity with B2B SaaS or developer tools, longer sales cycles, and buying committees.
