This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +31 more states.
β’ Assist in the execution and support of organizational design initiatives within the strategic framework set by the People Team leadership.
β’ Oversee organizational diagnostics, analysis, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and implementation activities.
β’ Convert organizational design priorities into detailed project plans and execution roadmaps.
β’ Perform assessments of organizational effectiveness, initiate restructuring efforts, design roles, analyze spans of control, and evaluate organizational health.
β’ Create workforce models, conduct skills gap assessments, engage in scenario planning, and provide data-driven workforce recommendations.
β’ Develop and sustain organizational design tools, frameworks, guidelines, and best practices documentation.
β’ Examine organizational data to pinpoint inefficiencies, role ambiguities, alignment gaps, and opportunities for optimization.
β’ Lead cross-functional discovery sessions, working sessions, stakeholder input, and communications.
β’ Produce current-state assessments, future-state organizational charts, role profiles, implementation plans, and executive presentations.
β’ Collaborate with People Analytics to inform decisions regarding organizational design and measure effectiveness.
β’ Manage project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, risks, and issues effectively.
β’ Offer organizational design consulting and practical recommendations that align with university priorities.
β’ Act as a strategic HR Business Partner for designated client groups.
β’ Collaborate with People Team functions to provide integrated people solutions.
β’ Assist with succession planning, leadership coaching, organizational change, employee relations, and workforce planning.
β’ Utilize workforce analytics and HR technology to identify trends and support data-driven decisions.
β’ Test organizational design solutions and provide feedback for enterprise-wide strategies.
β’ Engage and influence university stakeholders to drive alignment, adoption, and execution.
β’ Support change management related to organizational transformations, including communication, training, and adoption.
β’ Contribute insights from organizational design and HRBP to the strategic planning of the People Team.
β’ Carry out other responsibilities as assigned.
β’ A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in human resources focused on organizational design, workforce planning, and HRBP functions.
β’ At least 3 years of experience in a strategic HRBP role.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
β’ Proven experience in developing organizational design projects.
β’ Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
β’ Experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and translating strategy into actionable execution plans.
β’ Familiarity with organizational design methodologies, including role design, organizational assessment, and workforce planning.
β’ Knowledge of compensation principles, including job evaluation, leveling, and market benchmarking.
β’ Strategic HRBP experience with established credibility as a business partner and consultant to leadership.
β’ Proven ability to communicate and present effectively to influence stakeholders across various organizational levels.
β’ Proficiency in HRIS systems; Workday experience preferred.
β’ Experience collaborating effectively in a matrixed environment while adapting to stakeholder feedback and changing business needs.
β’ Must reside and work from one of the employer-approved states.
