This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the implementation and ongoing administration of Silicon Ranch's NERC reliability and CIP compliance program.
• Supervise the NERC Technical Compliance Manager and collaborate closely with the VP of Asset Operations on program strategy, resource allocation, and compliance performance.
• Work in close coordination with internal teams, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
• Directly manage NERC technical compliance responsibilities, GADS submissions, and evidence management.
• Promote a culture of compliance ownership, continuous improvement, and cross-functional teamwork within the NERC team.
• Oversee cyber security incident responses and compliance audits.
• Keep up-to-date with forthcoming changes to NERC reliability standards and engage in industry working groups.
• Monitor, coordinate, and report on all NERC compliance activities to ensure prompt completion throughout the organization.
• A Bachelor's degree is required; a degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in NERC compliance, showcasing a solid understanding of both NERC GO/GOP reliability standards and NERC CIP cyber security standards.
• A minimum of 3 years in a program lead or senior individual contributor role overseeing a NERC compliance program or significant compliance workstream.
• Previous experience in people management or team leadership is highly preferred.
• Practical experience with CIP technical controls, including firewall management, system security, network configuration, SCADA systems, RTACs, and access administration.
• Experience in managing GADS reporting and associated data collection processes.
• Familiarity with SCADA, PI systems, data lakes, and historians.
• Proficient in compliance evidence management, self-assessments, and audit support.
• Experience collaborating with third-party vendors and consultants on compliance-related tasks.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence compliance outcomes.
• Preferred experience in the solar or renewable energy sector.
