This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of designing, standardizing, and continually enhancing global onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle workflow processes for both employees and contractors.
• Create and uphold process documentation: every workflow, standard operating procedure (SOP), and operational standard is documented, version-controlled, and readily accessible.
• Identify and prioritize automation possibilities within People Operations workflows, collaborating with the UKG Ready Specialist and cross-functional stakeholders to minimize manual effort, enhance accuracy, and boost scalability.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners (HRBPs), functional leaders, and the UKG Ready Specialist to ensure that processes align with business requirements and are implemented consistently throughout the organization.
• Assess and recommend effective applications of AI and automation within People Operations while ensuring compliance with governance, privacy, and regulatory controls.
• Ensure that processes are designed for scalability — capable of supporting a 500-person organization even when operating at a 325-person capacity.
• Establish and enforce process standards across the People Operations team in collaboration with functional owners.
• Provide daily operational leadership and guidance to the team — the go-to person when processes are unclear, systems behave unexpectedly, or unique cases require a decision.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or a similar role within a technology company.
• Proven experience managing employee lifecycle processes from start to finish — including onboarding, offboarding, job changes, and compensation changes — with documented SOPs.
• Experience with HRIS platforms at an operational management level — responsible for data quality, process execution, and compliance within an HRIS, rather than merely being a user.
• Experience supporting payroll and benefits operations, with a focus on internal controls and data flow between HR and payroll systems.
• A strong track record of cross-functional collaboration with Finance, IT, Legal, and Security on HR compliance, systems, and process initiatives.
• Proven ability to build and maintain HR reporting and dashboards with a strong emphasis on data integrity.
• Working knowledge of federal and state HR compliance requirements such as I-9, EEO-1, FMLA, and multi-state employment law.
• Health insurance
• 401(k) matching
• Flexible work hours
• Paid time off
• Professional development opportunities
