This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Oversee Individual Medicare sales within a designated territory through a team of Broker Sales Representatives.
• Provide strategic direction for broker distribution, market expansion, operational implementation, talent development, and broker engagement.
• Ensure alignment with the organization's sales priorities.
• Collaborate with Market Finance, Provider Performance & Engagement, Network Management, Contracting, Marketing, Sales Operations, Product, Compliance, and executive leadership.
• Identify opportunities for growth and eliminate enrollment obstacles.
• Enhance broker relationships and implement local market growth strategies.
• Achieve membership growth and execute market initiatives.
• Cultivate high-performing sales professionals.
• Drive market performance and encourage collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Travel frequently throughout the assigned territory.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• At least five (5) years of experience in Medicare sales, managed care, health insurance, or related healthcare sales.
• A minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience managing sales teams, broker distribution, or field-based sales organizations.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales, membership growth, and performance targets.
• Comprehensive knowledge of CMS regulations and the Medicare Advantage marketplace.
• Current Health and Life Insurance License, or the capability to obtain and maintain licensure in line with company policies.
• Strong business acumen with the capacity to analyze sales performance, identify market opportunities, and formulate strategic action plans.
• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and executive communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and sustain productive relationships with brokers, agencies, providers, community organizations, and cross-functional business partners.
• Proven skills in leadership, coaching, performance management, and talent development.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with experience in using data to inform business decisions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred), and sales reporting tools.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory.
• Experience in developing and executing strategic growth plans.
• Experience in presenting business strategies and performance updates to executive leadership.
