Senior Manager, Master Data Management – Reference Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Transform business priorities into scalable data capabilities.

• Set enterprise data standards.

• Oversee cross-functional delivery between business and technology teams.

• Act as the data engagement lead for a designated business function.

• Collaborate to develop and implement the enterprise MDM and Reference Data roadmaps.

• Direct MDM and Reference Data initiatives across key domains.

• Create governance processes, data standards, stewardship responsibilities, and quality controls.

• Manage the implementation and enhancement of Reltio MDM capabilities.

• Oversee the implementation and enhancement of enterprise Reference Data capabilities.

• Enhance semantic and terminology management capabilities.

• Collaborate with business teams, Data Governance, Architecture, Data Engineering, and other technology groups.

• Lead both internal delivery teams and external partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical sectors, with knowledge of regulated business processes, data standards, and compliance requirements.

• Familiarity with Reltio MDM and/or ontology and terminology management platforms, such as SciBite or TopQuadrant.

• Proven experience in leading complex, cross-functional data initiatives among business and technology teams.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing abilities.

• Capability to convey the business value and measurable outcomes of data management investments.

• Experience in managing external partners and geographically distributed delivery teams.

• Understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata management, and FAIR data principles.

• Doctorate degree with 2 years of Information Systems experience OR Master’s degree with 6 years of Information Systems experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of Information Systems experience OR Associate degree with 10 years of Information Systems experience.
