This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Create campaign strategies for Taproot’s key initiatives, converting marketing strategy into target audiences, objectives, channels, sequencing, and measurement.
• Oversee two to three signature campaigns annually from conception to execution across various channels.
• Maintain an ongoing campaign calendar spanning 6–12 months.
• Craft briefs for team members, contractors, and agency collaborators.
• Collaborate with Programs, Strategic Partnerships & Advancement, and Product on launches and messaging materials.
• Generate campaign copy, email and web content, research reports, case study narratives, and executive visibility documents.
• Enhance Taproot’s social media presence beyond LinkedIn, incorporating platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
• Develop platform-specific social media content, explore new formats and tools, and assess performance.
• Identify and shape narratives that showcase the human impact of skilled service.
• Oversee contracted design resources, including project scoping, briefing, art direction, and review.
• Ensure the consistent application of Taproot’s updated brand identity.
• Manage contractors and freelancers to provide additional support as needed.
• Monitor and report on campaign and channel performance.
• Maintain briefs, workflows, and planning practices for efficient execution.
• Work collaboratively with Programs, Strategic Partnerships & Advancement, Product, Finance, and Executive Leadership.
• Perform additional duties that support marketing, communications, and organizational objectives.
• Travel occasionally, up to 15%, as required.
• 7–10 years of experience in marketing and communications, with hands-on management of multi-channel campaigns from planning to execution.
• Background in a startup, high-growth, innovative, or resource-constrained environment.
• Strong, adaptable writing skills across campaign copy, email, web content, and social media.
• Ability to craft narratives based on research reports and case studies.
• Proven social media proficiency across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and short-form video.
• Experience managing contractors, freelancers, or agency partners, including scoping, briefing, art direction, and review processes.
• Data-driven approach, utilizing metrics and audience insights to prioritize and enhance campaigns.
• Proficiency with digital tools and an interest in emerging technologies, including AI.
• Self-motivated and accountable, capable of following through on assignments to completion.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement integrated, multi-channel campaigns from start to finish.
• Exceptional writing skills and consistent execution of brand voice.
• Deep understanding of social media platforms and their respective formats.
• Strong design direction and visual judgment.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate guidance into actionable strategies.
• Commitment to Taproot’s values, including equity and inclusion.
• Experience in product marketing is preferred.
• Nonprofit sector experience is welcome but not mandatory.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States.
• Must indicate if employment visa sponsorship will be necessary.

• Salary range of $90,000 - $105,000 per year
