Internal Communications Lead, Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the communication strategy for various initiatives within Humana Technology.

• Implement tactics that prioritize effective message delivery and enhance employee engagement.

• Provide guidance to teams and leaders on best practices for internal communication.

• Create tactical plans and communication materials that support organizational transformation.

• Advise business partners on effective communication strategies and their execution.

• Develop strategies, plans, and narratives for change communication.

• Establish a measurement framework and report on outcomes.

• Set and track KPIs to support informed decision-making and assess success.

• Execute strategies for digital content and manage content across internal digital platforms.

• Produce communications for executive-level audiences and support executive events.

• Translate the Technology strategy into messaging that aligns with broader Humana objectives.

• Act as a subject matter expert in Technology communications for Corporate Communications.

• Provide support to the Technology organization and the Corporate Communications Team.

• Work during Eastern Standard Time business hours.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in journalism, communications, public relations, or a related field.

• Over 10 years of recent experience in corporate, employee, or technology communications.

• Proven experience in driving enterprise-wide change and transformation initiatives.

• Strong history of developing strategies and content for various internal communication channels.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Demonstrated expertise in PowerPoint.

• Outstanding writing abilities.

• Excellent presentation skills.

• Strong project management capabilities.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Ability to work during Eastern Standard Time business hours.

• Capability to work from a dedicated space free from ongoing interruptions.

• Home internet with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps.

• Preferred: experience with employee communication platforms such as Politemail or Poppulo.

• Preferred: experience in technology and AI communications or large-scale change and transformation initiatives.

• Preferred: background in healthcare communications.

• Candidates may be required to provide examples of recent employee-facing executive communications, presentations, emerging technology communications, and resources for leaders.
