This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Assist the Director of Market Access in formulating and implementing market access strategies that facilitate optimal launch, pricing, reimbursement, and sustainable access to specialty care indications in international markets and designated partner regions.
• Aid in the creation and deployment of comprehensive market access strategies tailored for the launch of specialty care products, addressing diverse international markets and partner regions, while aligning with corporate objectives, regulatory landscapes, and local affiliate requirements.
• Collaborate to ensure pricing, reimbursement, and formulary inclusion for new and existing products, utilizing health economic models, budget impact analyses, and value-based arguments.
• Support the creation of HEOR evidence, real-world data (RWD), and global/local value dossiers to guide HTA submissions and payer negotiations; contribute to objection handlers and materials for payer negotiations.
• Establish and maintain compliant relationships with external stakeholders (payers, HTA agencies, partners, regulatory bodies, and patient advocacy groups) to facilitate access, inform strategy, and shape evidence requirements.
• Collaborate with global and local Medical, Commercial, Regulatory, Legal, and Government Affairs teams to align market access initiatives, share best practices, and ensure readiness for product launches.
• Monitor policy developments and trends across international and partner regions; proactively identify risks and opportunities while supporting advocacy efforts that improve patient access.
• Manage multiple concurrent market access projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budgets, risk management, and measurable outcomes; oversee vendor activities as needed.
• Track, analyze, and report on access performance, milestones (e.g., HTA outcomes, P&R decisions), and competitive intelligence across assigned regions; maintain accurate and timely updates in PRISMA, Smartsheet, and other internal systems.
• Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, public health, economics, or a related field (PhD, MSc, MBA preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in market access and reimbursement within an international role, focusing on GI, internal medicine, endocrinology, cardiovascular, and rare disease market access, with a strong understanding of reimbursement for both niche and large patient populations.
• Demonstrated success in international launch planning and execution, including access strategy development with payer and policy maker networks for both niche and large population markets.
• Proven ability to work effectively in matrixed, multicultural teams across various regions.
• Strong understanding of international healthcare systems, HTA processes, and the environments of both public and private payers.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is desirable.
