Senior Manager, Logistics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Provides leadership for the Distribution Center and oversees supervisors responsible for turnkey warehousing and transportation solutions.

• Engage directly with customers to ensure timely resolution of issues while upholding a high level of customer satisfaction.

• Conduct strategic operational planning and execution for the operation.

• Identify and resolve operational challenges within the account(s) by implementing continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives.

• Recruit, supervise, and develop employees while managing performance to maintain a positive employee relations environment.

• Analyze data, identify necessary actions, and implement required changes.

• Lead a proactive safety program within work group(s) that aligns with company policy.

• Oversee the maintenance of equipment for assigned work group(s) through checklists and observations as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or GED is required.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain is preferred.

• Master's degree in Business, Logistics, Transportation, or a related field is preferred.

• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or a related industry is required.

• At least five (5) years of experience managing, leading, and developing direct reports is required.

• Three (3) years or more of Profit & Loss responsibility is preferred.

• One (1) year or more of customer interaction experience is preferred.
