Senior Inventory and Cost Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the prompt and accurate execution of the month-end closing process.

• Support the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts, including conducting scenario and sensitivity analyses.

• Aid in the annual updates of standard costs as well as the setup of new parts within the ERP system.

• Collaborate with leadership to identify risks and opportunities while supporting cost initiatives.

• Provide ad hoc analysis and assist with special projects as required.

• Work with the broader Cost Accounting/Operations FP&A team to establish KPIs, timelines, and a regular communication cadence with stakeholders.

• Conduct analytics throughout the month on cost of sales, absorption, PPV, and other metrics to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of standards and gross margins.

• Ensure adherence to the Company's policies, internal controls, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain and procurement teams to align on inventory-related objectives and metrics while working to mitigate business and financial risks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in cost accounting, operations finance, or comparable positions.

• Familiarity with standard cost rolls and experience working with large datasets.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, V-Lookup, data merges, filters, etc.) and PowerPoint.

• Strong analytical and communication abilities, including comfort in presenting to senior stakeholders.

• Experience in a Sarbanes-Oxley-compliant environment.

• Solid understanding and proficiency in U.S. GAAP.
