Senior Manager, Last Mile Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Ensure adherence to defined contract metrics.

• Uphold exceptional standards across all operational functions.

• Effectively recruit, train, develop, and evaluate staff; establish a contractor base team.

• Provide direction and support to front line management personnel.

• Oversee contract drivers operating up to 7 days a week across various regional locations.

• Cultivate relationships with customers to promote ongoing operational enhancements.

• Manage Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibilities.

• Collaborate with the national sales team to explore new growth opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work or military experience.

• 5 years of experience in operations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and Project.

• Supervisory experience within a transportation or supply chain context.

• Experience managing P&L.

• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork abilities, with experience in effectively supervising, coaching, and influencing team members.

• Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills.
