This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Play an essential role within the Aetna Office of Interoperability team.
• Facilitate communication efforts associated with Interoperability, standards-based organizations, and regulatory bodies like CMS and ONC.
• Handle calendar management and schedule both internal and external meetings as requested.
• Conduct preparation calls for internal participants ahead of meetings.
• Ensure timely distribution of relevant materials.
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders.
• Monitor progress on key events.
• Coordinate efforts across various communications teams.
• Guarantee effective communication flow across teams.
• Maintain the organization’s Communication Plan and the Communication Policy and Procedure document.
• Provide support to the Resource Center.
• Assist with RFP/RFI requests to ensure consistent, accurate, and timely communication across all channels.
• Familiarity with the healthcare ecosystem.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Project Management certification or equivalent practical experience.
• Significant experience with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Capability to excel in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Initiative-taker who embraces innovation.
• Experience in healthcare insurance and developing communication plans is preferred.
• Project Management certification, such as PMP, is preferred.
• A strong preference for degrees in Communication, Journalism, Business Administration, Health Administration, or a related field is preferred.
