Head of Communications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement the global communications strategy for 16VC.

• Establish and nurture relationships with top business and technology journalists.

• Handle corporate announcements, investment updates, and portfolio-related communications.

• Direct founder positioning and executive communications initiatives.

• Supervise the creation of press releases, media kits, interviews, and speaking engagements.

• Collaborate with marketing and content teams to ensure coherent messaging.

• Manage external public relations agencies and communication partners.

• Prepare leadership for media interviews and public engagements.

• Track media coverage and pinpoint proactive storytelling opportunities.

• Assist in reputation management and crisis communications as needed.

• Over 8 years of experience in communications, corporate communications, public relations, or media.

• Background in venture capital, technology, startups, or financial services.

• Strong connections with business and technology media outlets.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proven experience in leading strategic communications initiatives.

• Capability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
