This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Design and oversee HALO’s internal and leadership communications strategy, ensuring that communication priorities align with business objectives, organizational cohesion, and the adoption of change.
• Develop communication frameworks, standards, and schedules that enhance consistency, quality, and effectiveness throughout the organization.
• Define the timing and method for delivering key company messages across leadership forums, organizational updates, transformation initiatives, and significant business milestones.
• Create a practical communications operating model that enhances planning, decision-making, and execution among stakeholders.
• Collaborate directly with executive leaders to craft and compose impactful communications, including leadership messages, organizational announcements, town hall meetings, presentations, and strategic updates.
• Convert business priorities into clear messaging, narratives, and supporting materials tailored for internal audiences.
• Prepare leaders for critical communication moments by organizing messages, sequencing updates, and ensuring consistency across various channels and stakeholders.
• Oversee communication planning for organizational changes, leadership transitions, business updates, and transformation efforts.
• Work in tandem with HR / Workforce & Performance and business leaders to draft and coordinate clear, thoughtful, and well-executed communications for employees and leaders.
• Ensure communication plans take into account timing, stakeholder alignment, manager readiness, and the overall employee experience.
• Develop messaging frameworks, talking points, presentation narratives, FAQs, and communication materials that empower leaders and teams to communicate effectively.
• Act as a central communications partner across Marketing, HR / Workforce & Performance, Executive Leadership, and essential business functions.
• Over 10 years of experience in communications, including executive communications, internal communications, corporate communications, marketing communications, or a related discipline.
• Proven track record of supporting senior executives and crafting polished communications for leadership and a wide employee audience.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with strong capabilities in editing, storytelling, and message development.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to handle sensitive or confidential issues with professionalism and discretion.
• Experience collaborating across various stakeholders and functions in a matrixed environment.
• Demonstrated ability to impose structure, prioritization, and execution discipline in situations that are ambiguous or rapidly evolving.
• Strong project management abilities and capacity to manage multiple priorities at once.
• Experience in creating communication plans for organizational change, transformation, or other high-visibility projects.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools and AI-enabled applications to enhance efficiency and improve output quality.
