Senior Manager, International Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Assist in overseeing international accounting activities across various legal entities.

• Enhance statutory reporting processes.

• Oversee third-party accounting service providers.

• Facilitate the transition of activities into a centralized model that aligns with U.S. GAAP.

• Ensure precision, compliance, and operational excellence across different jurisdictions.

• Collaborate closely with global finance, tax, legal, treasury, and commercial finance teams.

• Review and authorize journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and financial statements.

• Promote consistency and standardization across different countries.

• Ensure adherence to statutory, tax, and regulatory obligations.

• Work in conjunction with local accounting firms to prepare and submit statutory financial statements and tax returns.

• Assist with transfer pricing and intercompany settlements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

• 6–10 years of progressive accounting experience.

• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.

• Experience managing accounting and reporting for multiple entities and countries.

• Proven track record of coordinating and collaborating with third-party accounting firms.

• CPA certification preferred.

• Background in a multinational, data-driven, or technology-enabled organization.

• Familiarity with SOX environments and internal control frameworks.

• Proficient in using NetSuite, Dynamics, Coupa, and BlackLine.
