Senior Manager, Internal Audit

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Enterprise Risk Management and Compliance teams to identify and assess significant enterprise risks.

• Assist in the formulation and implementation of the enterprise risk-oriented internal audit plan.

• Supervise audit engagements to guarantee high quality, timely completion, and actionable results.

• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls across financial, operational, compliance, and IT sectors.

• Oversee and coordinate co-sourced audit services in conjunction with external accounting firms.

• Lead, mentor, and foster the development of internal audit and IT audit team members.

• Prepare and facilitate audit reporting for executive leadership and Board committees.

• Act as a strategic advisor to leadership by pinpointing opportunities where Internal Audit can assist in achieving organizational objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• 5–7 years of internal audit experience, including at least 3 years in a management position.

• Experience in healthcare, research, or other highly regulated sectors.

• Proven experience in supervising staff and managing co-sourced audit providers.

• Active professional certification such as CIA, CPA, CISA, or equivalent.

• Strong understanding of internal audit standards, risk management, governance, and internal controls.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, presentation, and analytical abilities.

• Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, MS Accounting) and/or CFE or healthcare-related certification is preferred.
