Senior Manager, GTM Sales Engineer – AI Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish the Retail AI GTM Pod to identify, evaluate, and expand AI applications.

• Act as the production engine for ideas generated through the pod and the field.

• Spearhead technical discovery to determine the most effective solutions for problem statements.

• Maintain and manage a technical scrum board, operating on established sprint cycles.

• Coordinate integration efforts to align vertical AI outputs with core GTM platforms.

• Design and implement security controls for Retail AI applications.

• Contribute to cross-functional AI coordination meetings to connect teams across Toast.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in a technical, analytical, or GTM operations position.

• Advanced, hands-on expertise with developer-centric AI tools (Gemini Suite, Claude Cowork, Claude Code).

• Experience in deploying and managing AI backend systems in production (API services, model inference pipelines, orchestration layers).

• Knowledge of security best practices for AI-native systems (authentication/authorization, secrets management).

• Experience working within an agile engineering framework (managing technical product backlogs, conducting sprint cycles).

• Outstanding communication skills with a demonstrated ability to align stakeholders and champion vertical needs.
