Senior Manager, Government & Regulatory Affairs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Ongoing monitoring and evaluation of regulatory and legislative changes

• Development and execution of government affairs strategies

• Establishing relationships with policymakers and stakeholders

• Analyzing and assessing insurance regulatory and legislative proposals

• Recognizing emerging regulatory and legislative trends and sharing insights

• Aiding in the strategic execution of GEICO’s primary public priorities

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a recognized law school

• At least 10 years of pertinent government affairs experience with a focus on insurance regulation

• Demonstrated experience in crafting and executing regulatory and legislative strategies

• Comprehensive understanding of U.S. insurance regulatory frameworks

• Excellent analytical abilities

• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills

• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities

• Capacity to balance independent legal judgment with collaborative teamwork
