This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the Accounting leader for the Procure-to-Pay process, collaborating with Procurement, FP&A, and business executives.
• Manage purchase order 2-way/3-way matching procedures, invoice processing, vendor onboarding systems, and operational governance.
• Supervise global disbursement cycles, payment processing, and banking administration in conjunction with Treasury.
• Innovate, centralize, and expand international Accounts Payable operations.
• Ensure adherence to local statutory reporting, multi-currency transactions, cross-border payment regulations, and regional transaction taxes.
• Uphold vendor management standards and enhance the resolution of payment inquiries.
• Lead the optimization and alignment of AP and P2P tools including NetSuite, Coupa, and Zip.
• Develop and monitor AP performance metrics.
• Confirm that AP subledgers are complete, accurate, and reconciled to facilitate month-end closing.
• Collaborate on accrual methods, expense recognition, period-end cutoffs, and GR/IR reconciliation.
• Create and implement internal controls in line with SOX requirements.
• Enforce delegation of authority, segregation of duties, and approval hierarchies while supporting external audits.
• Build, mentor, and expand a global AP and operational accounting team.
• Promote accountability, service excellence, and cross-functional teamwork across various regions and time zones.
• 10+ years of advancing corporate accounting or global AP/shared services experience, including 3+ years in managing multi-entity or global AP and P2P operations.
• 7+ years of experience in Accounts Payable / P2P Accounting Operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration with Procurement, Treasury, Legal, and business stakeholders.
• Practical experience with ERP systems and P2P/AP automation tools such as NetSuite, Zip, and Coupa.
• Substantial experience in a public company or late-stage pre-IPO setting with established internal controls and audit rigor.
• Direct experience with multi-currency transactions, regional indirect taxes (VAT/GST), and international payment systems.
• Strong technical expertise in PO matching, invoice processing, and GL accrual reconciliations.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to partner with stakeholders across functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Active CPA designation is preferred.
• Preference for candidates in the East Coast time zone.
• Candidates must reside in the United States, excluding Alaska, Delaware, Iowa, Mississippi, Nebraska, South Dakota, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
