Junior Accounting Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Independently prepare and manage statistical and tax filings.

• Take responsibility for and oversee ongoing financial accounting for selected group companies.

• Conduct account clarifications and reconciliations to maintain high data quality.

• Contribute to the enhancement and further development of internal processes and projects within the department.

• Collaborate closely with adjacent departments and key stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree in business administration or a commercial apprenticeship, such as a tax clerk (m/f/d).

• Preferably further training as a Bilanzbuchhalter (certified balance sheet accountant) or an equivalent qualification.

• Initial professional experience in accounting, ideally within a corporate setting.

• Proficient in the use of digital applications and ERP systems.

• A structured, meticulous, and independent working style.

• A strong affinity for numbers, a team-oriented mindset, and a passion for actively shaping processes.
