Senior Manager, Global Medical Information

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Accountable for delivering precise, timely, and impartial medical information (MI) for designated therapeutic area(s).

• Developing, preserving, and leveraging product/disease state expertise to address inquiries.

• Overseeing the creation, approval, and upkeep of global and region-specific medical/technical global content (GC) response documents.

• Evaluating and endorsing medical content, ensuring adherence to regulatory and corporate standards.

• Representing AbbVie MI at international and significant scientific conferences.

• Conducting literature searches, assessing data, and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of product knowledge.

• Partnering with internal colleagues to develop pertinent core content.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, PA, Pharmacy, PhD in Health Sciences, or MD/DO program.

• Advanced degree is preferred.

• 3+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or 6+ years in a healthcare-related field is preferred.

• Significant understanding of relevant therapeutic area(s) is required, along with a foundational understanding of how medical information content and communication supports AbbVie’s business objectives.

• Drug Information residency is preferred.
