Senior Manager, Global Medical Information

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Delivers precise, timely, and impartial medical information for designated therapeutic area(s)

• Addresses unsolicited requests from healthcare professionals (HCPs) and consumers, as well as medical information inquiries escalated from affiliates

• Oversees the creation, approval, and upkeep of global and region-specific medical/technical content response documents

• Represents AbbVie Medical Information at major global and scientific conferences

• Conducts independent literature searches and maintains comprehensive product knowledge

• Collaborates across functions to design medical information booths as necessary

• Aids in generating innovative solutions for delivering medical information

• Produces and reviews content for AbbVie reimbursement communications

• Analyzes literature critically and tailors delivery for diverse audiences

• Acts as a mentor to colleagues

• Extracts insights from medical information inquiries and partners with team members to develop strategic solutions

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Physician Assistant, Pharmacy, Health Sciences (PhD), or MD/DO program

• Preference for advanced degrees

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector, or over 6 years in a healthcare-related field is preferred

• Significant knowledge of the relevant therapeutic area(s) is essential

• Drug Information residency is preferred
