
Senior Manager, Geospatial Intelligence – Localized Assortment & Store Clustering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and implement store-level clustering strategies based on consumer behavior, trade area dynamics, demographic changes, and emerging market trends.
• Utilize Placer.ai and other data resources to develop micro-assortment suggestions.
• Examine store-level and market-level data to pinpoint current and future localized opportunities that affect category strategy and assortment choices.
• Create event-, weather-, and season-driven playbooks to assist customer teams and partners in adapting to evolving local demand trends.
• Recognize local and regional seasonal opportunities, including multicultural events, temporary demographic shifts, and other market-specific demand drivers.
• Perform incursion analysis to assess the effects of new store openings near existing locations and recommend strategies to mitigate risks or unlock growth potential.
• Consolidate data from the Category Intelligence Platform into concise business insights and recommendations.
• Deliver actionable, data-informed recommendations that facilitate both strategic planning and local execution.
• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Analytics, Business, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Marketing, or a related discipline; advanced degrees are preferred.
• Extensive experience in geospatial analytics, retail analytics, category management, localized assortment, space planning, or similar commercial strategy positions.
• Familiarity with Placer.ai or comparable mobility/location intelligence tools.
• In-depth knowledge of trade area analytics, consumer behavior, store clustering, and localized retail strategies.
• Proven experience working with integrated datasets that link geospatial, shopper, and store-level operational information.
• Demonstrable ability to translate complex analyses into clear business recommendations that impact customer-facing and internal decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the capability to function as a subject matter expert across diverse audiences.
