Senior Manager, Financial Change Order

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Take charge of assessing the potential financial implications of changes to plan design by utilizing existing models or collaborating with internal partners within the coalition segment.

• Supervise a team of 3-4 direct reports.

• Assist in the creation and user acceptance testing of new tools.

• Facilitate training for both existing and new team members on established processes.

• Work in partnership with other members of the financial change order team.

• Access data through Excel and tools like SQL/SAS, employing financial change order models to analyze projected rebate guarantee impacts.

• Coordinate efforts among various company teams, including Sales, Analytic Consulting Services, Clinical Operations, Underwriting, and others, to ensure appropriate controls are established for reviewing changes to client benefit designs, formularies, or product implementations.

• Provide consultative analysis support to internal stakeholders, including but not limited to sales, underwriting, and underwriting analytics teams.

• Engage directly with external stakeholders and clients, effectively communicating analysis results in a clear and concise manner while meeting deadlines for requested analyses for the client.


⛳️ Requirements

• More than 7 years of professional experience in data analytics, finance, pricing, or process improvement roles, or a comparable mix of professional experience and education.

• At least 1 year of experience working with PBM data or conducting PBM financial analysis.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel-based analysis and SQL.

• Strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and critical thinking capabilities are essential.

• Ability to convey findings in a clear and concise manner when presenting analysis results to sales, underwriting, and other stakeholders.

• Previous experience or knowledge of the PBM industry or pharmaceuticals is preferred.

• Capability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing tight deadlines and conflicting priorities.

• Prior experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing new business processes.

• Proven track record of using business analytics to address data-driven questions.

• Experience in extracting, manipulating, and analyzing Big Data (databases containing multiple terabytes of data) to draw meaningful conclusions.

• Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with experience presenting to diverse business groups.

• Ability to engage with others in a collegial and professional manner, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing to accomplish key tasks.
