
Senior Manager, Finance Planning Systems – SAC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Collaborate with the Commercial finance planning teams to drive ongoing enhancement initiatives related to planning, forecasting, and long-term strategy.
• Work alongside project teams and oversee consultants in gathering commercial requirements, technical design, development, user acceptance testing, and the implementation of an enterprise planning solution.
• Take ownership of root cause analysis and process enhancement.
• Design, develop, and troubleshoot load rules, business rules, and calculation scripts.
• Continuously and proactively enhance the environment to elevate user experience by contributing to training documentation and user support.
• Create, maintain, and improve documentation on essential business processes and procedures in accordance with internal control policies.
• Advocate for and advance the automation of processes with current and future application workflows.
• Dispatch downstream system monthly corporate adjustment files for alignment with final monthly and quarterly consolidations.
• Facilitate the integration of SAP SAC planning, which includes sourcing actuals, reconciling, and performing data analytics.
• Collaborate with BTS to implement technical patches, upgrades, and handle system/application migrations.
• Responsible for communicating updates to leadership and the Steering committee on a monthly basis.
• Serve as the SAC subject matter expert for the organization by providing recommendations and collaborating with fellow SAC SMEs to share common solutions and best practices across the enterprise.
• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, finance, or accounting is preferred.
• Strong background in commercial finance within a large pharmaceutical organization is required.
• Must be available to work in the virtual Pacific Time zone.
• Experience in the architecture, development, and support of financial planning applications is necessary.
• Proficiency in the administration and/or implementation of SAP BPC is required.
• Strong analytical and technical skills for ongoing process improvements.
• Solid understanding of finance with comprehensive knowledge in planning, forecasting, and the accounting close process.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
• Capability to understand the needs of various business teams to strategically plan for growth and change.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to devise innovative and creative solutions.
• Ability to work independently and goal-oriented, as well as collaboratively within a team.
