Senior Manager – Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Manages the financial reporting responsibilities on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

• Engages in month-end closing activities and prepares variance analysis for budgets and forecasts.

• Responsible for developing long-term financial planning models that inform key business decisions, assess fair market value, and provide lender insights.

• Aids in the annual budgeting and forecasting process.

• Evaluates financial data to clarify variance causes, spot trends, and highlight opportunities to enhance performance.

• Reviews and investigates general ledger (GL) details to support financial analysis and provide business insights.

• Seeks continuous enhancement of data collection methods, analytical processes, reporting techniques, and financial modeling practices.

• Works together with finance team members, managers, and platform CFOs to achieve overall departmental objectives and goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline is preferred; CPA or MBA is also preferred.

• Over 6 years of professional experience in similar roles.

• At least 2 years of experience in auditing.

• Familiarity with GL accounting and reconciliations is preferred.

• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Experience with Workday software is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting software.
