Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Assist the insurance division with the monthly operations of Banner Plans and Networks.

• Support the quarterly forecasting activities.

• Evaluate revenue, expenses, and FTEs by department in relation to forecasts.

• Reconcile membership, care coordination payments, and physician incentives against accruals.

• Prepare alternative and comprehensive financial and statistical reports.

• Generate reports utilized for data analysis.

• Serve as a technical resource and intermediary between system management and department leaders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience is required.

• Proficiency typically gained with zero to two years of experience in healthcare finance is necessary.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple projects effectively.

• Strong analytical skills are essential.

• Proficiency in advanced software programs and office desktop applications is required.

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are necessary.
