Senior Manager, Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Provide financial analysis and assistance during the monthly closing process, annual business planning, and assessment of new business opportunities for the Central Operations team.

• Supervise the month-end closing activities.

• Create forecasts and budgets.

• Manage the explanation of variances compared to forecasts, budgets, and previous years.

• Ensure all billing opportunities are identified and captured.

• Oversee and develop finance support staff in both financial and accounting competencies.

• Conduct comprehensive financial training for operations personnel.

• Maintain adequate controls for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance regarding revenue recognition and contractual obligations.

• Convey, communicate, and execute corporate financial policies, procedures, guidelines, and controls in collaboration with the Field Finance Director.

• Supervise accounts receivable collections.

• Evaluate proposed new business initiatives, including pricing strategies, deal structure optimization, customer proposal formulation, and negotiation processes.

• Monitor budgets associated with new business startups.

• Oversee an analyst while cultivating their technical, process, and leadership skills.

• Execute other duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is mandatory.

• Seven to ten years or more of relevant experience in a finance or accounting support capacity is required.

• At least five years of experience managing combined finance and accounting support functions, which encompass financial analysis and planning, financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing.

• In-depth knowledge of financial concepts and principles, including cash flow, balance sheets, cost of capital, depreciation, and tax reporting.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Excel, with advanced Excel skills preferred.

• Strong leadership capabilities.

• Ability to handle conflicting deadlines and multitask effectively in a high-pressure environment.

• Capacity to influence and persuade others.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including interaction with senior-level internal and external stakeholders.

• Required advanced knowledge of MS Office.

• Willingness to travel 0–10% of the time.
