Senior Manager, Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Supervise the upkeep of precise financial records and financial analytical functions.

• Ensure the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports.

• Manage financial and business analyses derived from various sources and financial statements.

• Analyze financial reports for the management team.

• Assess and review analyses, recommending suitable actions to senior management.

• Develop budgets and forecasts while evaluating financial outcomes against expectations.

• Oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.

• Ensure the completion of financial statements along with supporting analyses.

• Keep track of legislative and political changes that may impact the business unit from a financial viewpoint.

• May supervise the capitation payments and premium billing processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a comparable field of experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or related finance roles.

• Prior management experience responsible for hiring, training, assigning tasks, and overseeing staff.

• Experience in public accounting, operations, financial analysis, information systems, and healthcare or insurance is preferred.

• Strong preference for candidates with healthcare payer experience.
