Senior Manager, Finance and Business Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee all financial duties for a Leidos focus program with a total contract value exceeding $2B and annual revenue surpassing $200M.

• Ensure precise and prompt financial reporting, forecasting (including net bookings, revenue, OI/fee, and cash), while effectively managing financial risks and opportunities.

• Collaborate with the program team and across Leidos functions to uphold Budget/EAC in accordance with both contract and internal/external policies.

• Provide recommendations to senior leadership to facilitate critical business decisions.

• Participate in proposals (leading pricing and cost volume) and foster internal and external relationships to expand the program and achieve strategic objectives.

• Continuously enhance reporting processes and systems to improve the speed, consistency, and accuracy of KPI reporting.

• Support team development, including employee career advancement (mentoring, training, skills enhancement) and talent management (recruitment and retention).

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10+ years of relevant finance experience OR a Master’s degree with at least 6+ years of relevant experience.

• A positive, can-do attitude with proven success in leading diverse teams or projects under tight deadlines.

• A strategic vision with the capability to drive new business captures and create business case analyses.

• Proficient in analyzing financial data and advising senior management on financial and strategic matters.

• Experience in financial analysis and reporting, forecasting, and Annual Operating Plan.

• Familiarity with Earned Value Management Systems/Processes/Tools.

• Knowledge of accounting practices, EACs, and booking rates.

• Understanding of government contracting and FAR regulations.

• Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.

• US Citizenship is required and the ability to obtain at least a Public Trust clearance.
